Buckaroo Bart - Backwoods

Bart Taylor is an Original Gigster who played Backwoods with the Move Trio. When he’s not slinging riffs on guitar, you’ll find Bart spreading the gospel of Oklahoma’s favorite son, Will Rogers. As “Buckaroo Bart,” he travels the state educating students about Will Rogers and entertaining with stories and rope tricks. Working with the Will Rogers museum as an interpreter, creative curator, and author who brings the humor, history, and Western heritage of Oklahoma to life for children and young audiences. In addition to visiting nearly every public school in Oklahoma, he’s also an educator at institutions like the Gilcrease Museum, Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park, the Gathering Place, and Rogers State University.
