The Red Dirt Rangers (Ben Han, John Cooper, and Brad Piccolo) have been carrying the banner and spreading the gospel of Red Dirt music since 1988. From their roots in Stillwater, Oklahoma, they’ve taken their sound to cities across America—coast to coast and border to border—as well as throughout Europe and beyond. The Rangers proudly carry on the Red Dirt musical legacy established by pioneers like Steve Ripley, Bob Childers, Tom Skinner, Jimmy LaFave, and others. This torch has been passed to a new generation including The Great Divide, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney LaRue, and many more. The Rangers’ contributions to this legacy were recognized with their 2017 induction into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
